Description
HIWOT program is a rural and pastoralist focused program with a final goal of improving the sexual and reproductive health situation of the community. The program covers three regions (Oromia, Afar and Dire Dawa administration), people living in a total of 291 Kebeles with target population of 2,073,815. In order to achieve this goal the program works to improve the accesses ability and quality of service provision on family planning, and HIV/AIDS with a focus on community based reproductive health service provision. Empowering youth and women to improve their decision making on reproductive health and other issues is also an integral part of the program.
