Project

Alliance with Private Sector

Description

Objective: Contribute to the reduction of poverty of rural residents by increasing their income through an improvement in the competitiveness of productive chains prioritized as having potential productivity and market appeal. The target group consists of 800 families that are mainly of indigenous origin, specifically of Weenhayek and Guarani cultures. The project contemplates a market focus as well as a focus on joint efforts with oil companies to finance the interventions. The implementation will be executed with the participation of NGOs and local governments that are part of strategic alliances. The following have been identified initially: holding the first ORCAWETA (Organization of the Weenhayek Capitanias and Tapiete) festival; development of the artisan chain in Carahuata (wild fiber); socio economic diagnostic and elaboration of projects with a market approach. This is a process project that contemplates the incorporation of new actors into the development of the several micro initiatives that are identified through the knowledge and trust of the clients.
