Description
VIDA covers 14 districts in Nampula Province and aims to improve the Ministry of Agriculture's capacity and other stakeholders' to perform key activities related to achieving food security, and to improve household food consumption, especially for vulnerable children. CARE  will offer crop production advice to about 45,000 direct beneficiaries working in production and women’s groups. VIDA’s market-oriented extension services include providing considerable assistance to the private sector to help it establish seed production businesses and retail outlets for agricultural tools and inputs.
